THESIS
Mexican segregation in the 1930's was prominent, but overlooked. The parents of the students that were denied entry into the Lemon Grove Grammar School didn't accept this injustice, and fought to get their kids an education. Using all the resources they could get, they broke the barrier of segregation, and blazed a path for other activists to follow later on in the civil rights movement.
